Family Wellbeing Hub
We are delighted to announce the launch of our Family Wellbeing Hub Programme. Our programme is developed to inspire both parents and children the importance of Dietary Nutrition and Physical Wellbeing. As a Network, we wish to promote Health and Wellbeing through affirmative activities, positive mindsets and exciting experiences for the whole family to enjoy.
In the UK alone through a Parliament Statistics Study, a massive 64.3% of adults and 56.6% of children (aged 11 and below) are classified as obese/overweight. This is over half of our Countries population, which currently stands at around 66.5 million people.
Our Family Well-being Hub Programme combines Yoga and Mindfulness workshops, which include body conditioning and pranayama techniques to help reduce stress and anxiety and Nutritious ‘Eat Well for Less’ Cookery workshops, which will entail food handling through quick, simple, affordable recipes. They have all been adapted so both parents and children can learn, enjoy and develop new skills together, to accommodate everyday out-of-school routines.
