We are bringing both our Wildcats and Squad Girls football sessions together.

From Monday 15th April 2024, both sessions will be taking place at Burgess Park Sports Centre on a Monday night from 17:00 - 18:00.

We are pleased to announce that sessions will remain FREE and will be open to all girls aged between 5-14.

Wildcats - Primary aged girls 5-11

Squad Girls - Secondary aged girls 12-14

Weetabix Wildcats (5-11)

Are you looking for a fun way for girls 5-11 to get involved with football? Then look no further! Weetabix Wildcats is the place to be, everyone is super awesome; from the friends you’ll meet to The FA qualified coaches and volunteers who deliver the sessions.

So, what is Weetabix Wildcats? Well, it’s non-competitive football for girls who want to give it a go for the very first time or want to play with other girls their own age. Most importantly, Weetabix Wildcats is all about having loads of fun and meeting new amazing friends.

Squad Girls (12-14)

Aged 12-14 and keen to kickstart or continue your football journey? Squad Girls’ Football sessions are just what you need! A fun, non-competitive way to play football locally with friends, old and new. Whether you’re completely new to the sport, are looking to transition from Weetabix Wildcats, or simply want to give it a go, Squad Girls’ Football is designed to help develop skills and build confidence, whilst encouraging girls to play their way.

Squad Girls’ Football is a programme created by England Football, which is supported by Sport England. It’s targeted at girls aged 12-14 who want to get involved with football in a fun, non-competitive environment. It’s all about being with and making new friends, whilst having loads of fun!
